Learn MoreI’ve had many surgeries at SCK and ALL the staff is amazing. From reception, to the nurses & doctors.
I was told to be there at 7:15 am and waited for well over an hour before going back. Once I got back to the pre-op area, seems like things went pretty quickly. The gal who took me back to change walked way ahead of me and seemed like a drill sergeant to begin with but once she got me to my bed she was very friendly. I decided she was just busy and was trying to move things along when she took me back, but she might try to sound less like a drill sargeant! Everyone from check-in to Dr Chan and his PA as well as anesthesia and nursing and post op were very good. Really only complaint was the wait. Seems unreasonable to have someone show up at a particular time and have to wait for over an hour to get taken back.
Great communication and procedure. Nurses were caring, helpful and competent.
The best staff ever. I have many surgery’s and this group of people are the best.

Surgery side went well, other than that had to be there 2 hours ahead. Biggest complaint: it was cold outside, the waiting room was cold, and there was no coffee. My wife was not happy.
